Hello (*stands up) I’m Paula, aka Yogi Bird and yoga has literally changed my life 😉  It was 15 years ago I went to my first class but that was where my yoga would start and finish – on the mat.  I enjoyed my ‘workout’ but it has only been in recent years that I came to realise, yoga is so much more than just exercise. Two years ago I had what I can only describe as a calling and took steps towards gaining my yoga teacher qualification.  I completed my 200 hour diploma with Sun Power Yoga in 2017, closely followed by my Yin Yoga Teacher training with Sarah Lo.  This then lead to my Pregnancy Yoga Teacher training with Dawn Wright.

So why do I love yoga so much?  Well, as some one who has ‘burnt out’ and experienced injury as well as long standing issues with my weight, I know first hand the physical and psychological affects this can have on an individual. I believe yoga is for everyone and that we can all benefit from it.  So whether it be working towards a fitter, stronger more flexible you.  Or taking some ‘me time’, reducing anxiety or learning to relax.  It’s all within reach via yoga.
